Off your list, i gotta go with Wendl Clarke and Clark Gillies, as those guys epitomize what it means to be a good teamate.

Sidenote: I saw Oleg Kvasha was on the team from 00-06........did it really take all those years to realize this guy sucked?

1) Gillies
2) Palffy
3) Moulson
4) Parise
5) Howatt
6) Gilbert

I guess we were a little thin on the left side as an organization through the years...

Clark was a great player, but his time with the Isles was so short, I have a hard time considering him an "all-time Islander great left wing". I tend to vote for guys who had a track record of spending at least a few yeras with the team or having a big moment in franchise history.

MM loved him, guy had a boatload of talent, its just too bad he brought it to the rink once every 7-8 games.

I only voted for Gillies and Palfy...I thought about voting for Moulson but he hasn't really been on the team long but 3 30 goal season are impressive.

As for his big moment............beating up one of the baddest dudes in the league (Dave Shultz), was a big enough moment for me.

Not to knock your picks but did Greg Gilbert do anything for the Islanders? As I remember when he came up from the minors he seemed to be a healthy scratch many times. He did have a good year with Calgary though when he scored over 30 goals.
