Vladislav Gavrikov is a 26 year old pending unrestricted free agent Russian left defenseman.

Gavrikov was selected in the 6th round from the 2015 draft, going 159th overall. He spent five years split between KHL squads Lokomotiv and SKA St. Petersburg. In those years, he had 16 goals, 33 assists, 49 points in 222 games.

The two way defender joined the team in the 2018-19 playoffs, where they stunned the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round, being pointless in 2 games. His only other playoff experience comes from the 2019-2020 COVID bubble, where they upset the Toronto Maple Leafs in round one, before being eliminated by the Lightning, having one goal and 2 assists in 10 games.

Aside the playoffs, he has 15 goals and 58 assists for 73 points in 255 career NHL games.

The young Russian has been serving as the top defenseman on the roster this season with the injuries to Zach Werenski and Jake Bean on the left side, having been out since the end of November.
