The Cats released the Round 2 schedule yesterday.
And with it the battle is officially set…
What are we thinking, Cats Club?
Toronto got the Round 1 monkey off their back. They are loaded up front with a lot of very talented forwards. They’re also getting some solid goaltending from former Cat Anthony Stolarz, and offense from the backend from another former Cat, OEL.
But…the far “weaker” team in the Ottawa Senators definitely put a scare in Toronto. Actually, I thought the Sens were going to force a Game 7 and win the series. With their historically bad playoff mojo over the years, I know TOR fans were thinking the same thing.
Therein lies an advantage for Florida.
The Leafs and their fanbase have been subject to disappointing postseason performances and exits over the years. A couple strong performances from Florida early on, and doubt sets into the Toronto locker room and bleachers…
