If you missed yesterday’s summary about the 3-0 shutout the Red Wings earned over the Golden Knights, take a Quick Look. Here’s the video compilation of the 3 goals.

In the main video, we’re addressing the upcoming season as the league is looking at a 3 week shutdown for the Olympics while adding 2 games to the regular season. The schedule is going to be that much more difficult in a normally long season with back to backs and less time to do it in. There has to be concern about retaining and maintaining viewers and then pulling the league down for 3 weeks for the Winter Games.

There is a lot to take into account, including how hard the players fought to get back into the Olympics, but the NHL, the players and its fans may end up dealing with some significant pushback in an ever changing sports landscape. As always, let me know your thoughts.
