The NHL Season is not gonna happen.

They aren't going to resume this season in July, that's crazy.

There may be an outside possibility of the playoffs happening, but if I were a betting man, and I most certainly am, I would put my money on outright cancellation.

Then again, I once bet all my money on Y2K and had to briefly join the band Korn to make up for it.

Anyway, in order to keep the content flowing like the hair of a third line winger from the 80s, we're gonna count down the top 50 Arizona Coyotes of all time.

But more importantly, I will also count down the 50 best films of all-time.

Today we kick off with #50

50th Best Coyotes Player of All-Time

Martin Hanzal

Hanzal was drafted 17th overall in 2005. While he was a very, very good player when healthy, Hanzal struggled with injuries more-so than any player I can think of.

Put it this way: Hazal refers to Joffrey Lupul as "Iron Man"

The absolutely massive Hanzal teased Coyotes fans for ten years with his talent, but could never stay healthy enough to put together the kind of season he was clearly capable of having.

Despite playing games in 13 seasons, Hanzal hasn't gone over the 70 game mark since 2009-10.

Back Surgeries, knee surgeries, exploratory surgeries, recreational surgeries - you name it, Martin Hanzal (we assume) has probably had it.

Once, while the NHL was locked out, Hanzal took up butter-fly catching and blew out his knee prancing through a meadow. (Legally I have to say this is in fact, not true).

Anyways, Hanzal's best years were 40 points in 65-ish games, which he did twice. He wasn't exactly a star player even when healthy, but he talent, and he could play without the puck.

Though making this list is perhaps one of his career highlights, I'm putting him on it because I was always a big fan.

Top 50 Film Countdown

This following Top 50 will contain the best 50 films ever made, and should immediately supersede the American Film Institute's list. (Of which they never even bothered to consult me on).

Film #50: Limitless

Staring Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper (an obscure actor who once killed it on Alias), this classic comes to us from 2011.

Endlessly re-watchable, Limitless features everything a movie needs: a cool concept, and the ability to elicit someone to call it a "Non-Stop Thrill Ride," which is most certainly is.

One of my favorite films, I'd consider it superior in every way to both Citizen Kane and the Godfather.....I always use stickers to put in my own tag lines or critical exerts on the back of the DVD case, and on this one I wrote "10 x Better than Vertigo."

This movie spawned an equally great TV show, which although canceled is sure to be resurrected soon, along with every cancelled show every made.

Honestly, writing about it, I feel maybe I should have it higher. Then again, it's a damn good list, and you are in for a treat.

In 2011 the Best Picture went to The Kings Speech and Limitless wasn't even nominated. What a joke. This is easily the best film of 2011.

Wikipedia says that it got "mixed to average" reviews, but give me a break. Anyone giving a negative review to this masterpiece is just being pretentious.

Limitless rules.
