The Leafs grabbed former Cup Winner Matt Murray yesterday, but only did so as a backup...With the buyout of Samsonov, Toronto was given an absolute gift if they can get him signed...This becomes imperative as it is growing apparent that Kuemper is heading to Washingotn for 6+, Campbell is heading to Edmonton for 5 X 5, and there really isn't anyone else who you could hope to get as a starter for a Cup contending team. Samsonov will be PRICEY though. His team is well aware of how important he is to the Leafs..

On Patrick Kane...

I am told the Rangers and the Avalanche are both going to make a very BIG push. The Rangers are the most likely, but the Rangers will have to clear alot of space and remember...this is a TRADE.

If Colorado can put more on the table, then Kane could head there...
