Playing their penultimate North American game of the 2019 preseason, Alain Vigneault's Philadelphia Flyers (1-2-1) are in Beantown on Monday night to take on Bruce Cassidy's Boston Bruins (1-0-2). Game time at TD Garden is 7 p.m. EDT.

The game will be televised on NBCSP+ and NESN+. The radio broadcast is available on 97.5 The Fanatic with an online simulcast at Flyers Radio 24/7.

The Flyers made one additional roster cut on Sunday. Veteran goaltender J-F Berube was placed on waivers -- he is likely to clear -- for purposes of assigning him to the AHL's Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

The goaltending plan for Monday is for Brian Elliott to play the entire game. Carter Hart will back up Hart in Boston and then play the entire game against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on Thursday.

On Sunday, wingers Tyler Pitlick (non-contact) and Kurtis Gabriel (full participation) were cleared to join the team at practice. Both players practiced in the non-game group. Nolan Patrick (upper-body) officially remains week-to-week as of now. General manager Chuck Fletcher said there may be a mid-week update on the 21-year-old center.

For Monday's game, team captain Claude Giroux, right winger Jakub Voracek, defensemen Ivan Provorov and Matt Niskanen, and winger Michael Raffl are the most notable vets who have the night off. Top forward prospects Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost -- two of the seven rookie hopeful forwards who remain in camp -- will also not play on Monday, but Vigneault indicated that both were likely to play in New York on Thursday.

For the first time in the preseason, Monday's game will see Sean Couturier and Kevin Hayes both in the Flyers lineup in the same game. The first power play unit will group Couturier, Hayes, James van Riemsdyk, Travis Konecny and Shayne Gostisbehere. The second unit will have rookie hopeful German Rubtsov, Nicolas Aube-Kubel, Connor Bunnaman at netfront, and defensemen Travis Sanheim and Philippe Myers.

The head coach said after Sunday's practice that the next round of roster cuts are planned for after the Boston game. The team with then practice two days, play the Rangers in New York on Thursday and, on Friday night, depart for Switzerland.

Flyers line combinations are below. The Bruins' game roster/line combos will be added when available.
