The Los Angeles Kings played three games this week and had a forward return from injury. Here’s a recap of news and notes from the week.

KINGS WIN ALL THREE GAMES

The Kings won all three of their games this week, defeating the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday, before sweeping a two-games series against the Arizona Coyotes. The Kings have now won four games in a row.

BLAKE LIZOTTE RETURNS TO LINEUP

Forward Blake Lizotte returned to action this week, after missing some time due to COVID protocols. Lizotte has two goals in his first 10 games of the year.

ANDERSON-DOLAN INJURED

Jaret Anderson-Dolan didn’t suit up for the Kings’ game against Arizona last night and will miss some time with an injury. Anderson-Dolan has three goals and five points in six games so far this season.

As for our poll questions this week, here are some of the results, along with my thoughts on how they turned out.

QUESTION: Are you happy with Trevor Moore’s performance so far this season?

(Votes: 79)

Yes: 81%
Don’t feel strongly either way: 16%
No: 3%

Moore has been a really solid member of the bottom-six so far this season. He has seven points in 16 games and has seemingly built some chemistry with Jaret Anderson-Dolan and Carl Grundstrom.

QUESTION: Are you happy with Gabriel Vilardi’s performance so far this season?

(Votes: 40)

Yes: 73%
Don’t feel strongly either way: 18%
No: 10%

Vilardi is off to a relatively strong start this season, with four goals and seven points in 16 games. He’s had some lapses defensively but overall, he’s fitting in quite well with the Kings.
