Quick update this morning...full out rumor chart update next because I can't even begin to remember a CRAZIER rumor season shaping up. One Assistant GM called it "Bedlam!"
And then there is a little matter of a Cup...
Thoughts on last night..
*This is what makes the Bruins so great. They simply can't be rattled....and they smell fear!
*Rask and his calmness frustrated the Blues to the point they started aiming shots and at one point in the third period they had three shot opportunities from the point, but instead took fake shots and tried for redirection/deflections...
*The Blues made a lot of nervous plays after a strong first period...and they lost their cycle game and stopped putting the puck in deep allowing their D to dominate the walls...When they did get it deep they made the Bruins D look very tired and hesitant...
*Chara's courageous performance was unmistakable, but he obviously is struggling with his clears..I counted at least 4 times he tried to get the puck out and failed.
*Binnington was not to blame for the game...He made several key stops at 1-0, giving the Blues more than enough road to try and get the tying goal.
*Game 7 is far from a sure thing for the B's . I bet the Blues relax a ton getting away from home and getting back to basics....The pressure returns to the Bruins...
