More to come today including complete Rumor Chart Update, but I just got off the phone with a top source at the NHL who tells me that three teams, the Kings, the Canadiens and the Canucks are all working on plans to land Evgeni Malkin...And the Penguins are "prepared to listen to any and all offers" prior to the NHL draft....
I have also heard there is limited but growing interest from the NY Rangers.
The Penguins asking price has not yet been even loosely defined, but since Malkin is still a top ten forward in the NHL the price will be astronomical.
