Unless Pittsburgh is interested in taking a combination of Phaneuf, Carter, Martinez, Kovalchuk, and draft picks no higher than the 3rd round, then the Kings aren't interested. |

I can’t see the kings trading for malkin
A trade would look something like
Carter/Toffoli (add a prospect, maybe UFA brodzinski and pick). I like brodzinski and don’t think kings should trade his rights away.

Malkin and a draft pick or something
I can’t see that trade happening. What are your thoughts PIT fans? Who would you guys like to see from the kings IF this trade rumor were even true (it’s not) |

One of those guys has to be in the deal. Of course they’ll ask for JAD or Kupari which isn’t happening. Kings aren’t in a cup window, if they were then you think about trading those players but right now those players are untouchable |

Makes no sense from the Kings perspective. Trade a boat load of pieces + picks to get a player that is going to be 33 in the next two months. Just nonsense unless the price is fairly middle of the road. |
