The Jets started strong but then old habits or trends came back after a 1-0 lead was established by Wheeler and Scheifele. But like a lot of things this season a hero came out to scoop victory from the jaws of defeat.

Rather than breaking down the game let's look at some questions.

The Jets had some grade 'A' scoring chances last night that failed to convert, thank Foligno for two prevents. However did they make thing overly complicated passing up shots and chances on the belief they could create a better chance?

Joe Morrow, sure he helped on the first goal but when he's on the ice are other players compensating for his poor positioning?

Did Tanev play some well-timed 'possum' when he got hit with the puck? Was it a bit of forgiveness for having his stick ripped out of his hands before with no call while on the PK? The Mount Tortorella eruption after the play was whistled dead would suggest a less than honorable approach.

Did the fans give Laine a bit of a polite 'bronx cheer' after he battled and kept the puck in the zone on the PP? He certainly drew some moans from the crowd on some other gaffes.

Maurice seemed impressed with himself postgame on some of the results he saw from line juggling- was he right?

Is Kyle Connor hitting his groove now or just getting some puck luck at the right time?

Did the Jackets find some seems in the Jets defense system and exploit it?

The Jackets also played a high pressure game on the Jets breakouts, is this a tactic we will see more of in the future against them- how much will having Buff and Ehlers back help?

It wasn't the prettiest game but the Jets again, managed to pull out the win. Jack Roslovic played the role of sniper in Laine's position and Bryan Little who seems to be under-appreciated managed a great pass to a Connor for the GWG.

The rink, for a coooooold Thursday night, had a great vibe and despite some gaffes and a questionable goal against the Jets prevailed. It was not their best hockey of the year but it was far from their worst and that's something to be optimistic about.
