New York Rangers prospect named among best players of the week in KHL |

KHL has announced the best players for week eighteen.
The best goalie was Igor Shestyorkin (SKA), who didn’t allow goals in two away games (best result of the week). At this moment, the SKA goalie is tied on top of the League’s rankings for shutouts, with eight games without goals allowed.
The best defenseman was Vadim Kudako (Severstal), who won three games of three last week – with two road matches – producing 3 (1+2) points. The 21-years-old defenseman posted no negative ratings, earning a plus-4 for the week.
The best forward was Anton Burdasov (Salavat Yulaev), who won three games of four with his team last week, scoring 8 (5+3) points (best result of the week). On top of that, he had game-winning goals against HC Sochi, Dinamo Riga, and Kunlun Red Star.
The best rookie was goaltender Ilya Konovalov (Lokomotiv), who won two games of three last week – including one shutout. The 20-years-old goalie had a saves percentage of 93.06% with a goals-against average of 2.01. His shutout against CSKA was his seventh this year, and he is now in the League’s top six for games without goals allowed.
