Nobody ever learns

Year after year nobody learns from previous mistakes. Cap goes up and instead of being clever with the space you see fourth liners and bottom pairing defensemen getting term and money. Fans love to talk about star players taking less to win, but why in the world should the best players turn away money so that it can be allocated to players who not only don’t make your team better, but actually make it worse.

For many general managers when they are gifted with cap space they line up to spend it on guys who don’t create offense. Just look at some of the nonsense already

That’s per year, laughable.

There are players in the AHL either undersized or undervalued that you can find for league minimum and you can keep your cap space.

Other times you have Chad Ruhwedel readily available

Happy Jack Johnson day
