Watch & listen to Mike Morreale from NHL.com and I blather about Team USA after the second day of on ice action at USA Hockey's National Junior Team Selection Camp in preparation of the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship.

Jack Eichel (BU, DE15) was named captain of Team USA at the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship today and with the amount of leaders in that locker room, that's speaks rather loudly. Will Butcher (Denver, COL) and John Hayden (Yale, CHI) will serve as alternates. Leading without letters are JT Compher (Michigan, BUF), Steve Santini (BC, NJD), Hudson Fasching (Minnesota, BUF)....I could go on. So much leadership in the mix.

In other news, Santini - who had his cast removed and pins taken out of his wrist yesterday - skated this morning and is out of the yellow non-contact jersey. Expect him to be in the lineup tonight as Team USA takes on Sweden in their final pre-tournament game (7ET via FastHockey.com - $)

USA Hockey has at least three more cuts to make - two forwards, one defenseman and possibly one goalie.
