For my fellow Coyotes fans or those who just enjoyed the post season I wanted to post a picture of my playoff beard that had to unfortunately die. A beard is a choice, an amazing one, yet the ladies really don't seem to like it...or it's my face. Well all aside we all try or in spirit grow a playoff beard and mine usually ended within the second it grew, but this time I got it to a shaggy length. I started this the day the playoffs started and shaved her off when they were eliminated. How did your playoff beards go? Any complaints? Props to Ian Esplen my Canuck friend who gave me the idea when he posted his, sadly he didn't get very far this year, but I liked the idea. So get your jabs in on my piss poor ratty beard or my ugly looks!

This is pure filler for my final Russian prospects draft blog, it's kind of exploitation but the next one has about 20 guys and it is taking a bit longer than expected so...

Here is a piece to tide anybody over

Jiri Sekac (Ok he ain’t Russian but he plays there sort of)

The Czech winger moved back closer to his home by joining the new Slovakian squad of the KHL in Lev Poprad. The year before (his draft year) he led the Youngstown Phantoms with 45 points in 58 games, but found a lot of criticism from scouts by how weak he was on the puck, I mean hell he was 6’0 145lbs (Now 6’2 174). This season he looked great, he destroyed the MHL with 8 goals in 6 games before being called up fulltime to the KHL. In 36 games he had 10 points and played a lot of 3rd line minutes. One of the nice things is that he developed more of a two-way game. He had a decent WJC but didn’t really have the speed to dominate a tournament like that. It’s hard to figure what he will develop into; he has a strong shot but like many Czech wingers prefers a pass first game. He’s a real boom/bust player, but he has some scoring potential, I wouldn’t be surprised if he went undrafted.

Next up Teodors Blugers and why this man with two names, three citizenships and a BFF of Nathan MacKinnon will be interesting in the later rounds.

*Promised a beard picture for several friends sorry for others*
