There were glimmers of hope that a deal could get done, but the prices weren’t budging. Lots of first round picks along with players that teams didn’t feel Detroit had anything to bring to the table

The Joe Veleno era in Detroit is over, Petr Mrazek is back. Just over a week ago the coach talked about players complaining about playing time. Joe was give chances on multiple lines (including the top line) but just seemed to fumble the opportunity. Berggren, meanwhile, seems to be growing. Now we all just have to wait and I need your help.

I never thought a broken lower back would hurt so much, so my writing kind of sucks. Trying to give you something to chew on. If you can throw in suggestions, here are the categories with my own thoughts.

Grand Rapids:
Tuomisto, Wallinder, Tuomisto (defense)
Nate Danielson, Amadeus Lombardi (forwards)
College - Augustine
Overseas - Axel Sandin Pellikka and Buchelnikov

Give me your lists! Thanks.
