I’m a couple hours away from my big rumor blog today that launches with the rumor chart….look for it sometime after between 2 and 4….

But I just got a text from a really strong source on what could very well be the news of the deadline….

They’re laying very low on this, but Brad (Marchand) is definitely in play……teams he’s willing to go to should be notified by Friday/Saturday of this week. He would probably just be a rental and return to Boston in the summer. But he really does want a playoff run and he realizes the Bruins need some pieces……Yes, he’s kind of going along with everything but hesitantly…. he won’t go just anywhere…. I’d imagine that Boston will have to keep a piece of his salary because any team interested in a contender already has zero cap space. Chicago/Seattle could be involved as a third piece again

So this trade deadline just got really interesting! Back with more later!
