Well we are going to do our best and put yesterdays game in the past and never think about it again. However, the Hawks have announced a series of moves this morning. Taylor Hall will be having season ending knee surgery. Its hard to be surprised by this news as he has had a heavy injury history. He will finish his first season as a Hawk with just 10 games played and 4 points (2 goals 2 assists).

The team also announced that they have placed Andreas Athanasiou on the IR retroactive to November 9th due to a groin injury.

To fill their spots the team have recalled Joey Anderson and Cole Guttman from the Rockford Ice Hogs.

In 14 games with the Ice Hogs, Anderson has 16 points (7-9) and in 12 games Guttman has 9 points (3-6)

Things like this were bound to happen and it will be interesting to see how the team adapts to having to rely on the younger talent even more. Guess the idea of having a shot at Celebrini might not be so far fetch after all.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
