The Florida Panthers and Vegas Golden Knights are clashing in the 2023 NHL Stanley Cup, featuring a plethora of Columbus alumni.

Florida features the best Sergei Bobrovsky since his Veznia Trophy days; veteran Zac Dalpe as a black ace on the offense; and winger Anthony Duclair as a regular contributor to the offense. Bull Zito, the former assistant general manager, was also a finalist for the Jim Montgomery Trophy for best general manager of the 2022-23 NHL season.

Vegas features top six forwards in Jonathan Marchessault and William Karlsson from the original roster; bully Keegan Kolesar; and goaltender Jonathan Quick as the fifth stringer (when healthy).

Bobrovsky is playing the best playoff hockey in his career, putting in his best efforts since his last Veznia Trophy stretch with the Blue Jackets. Remember when he was worth a second and two fourth round draft picks?

Anthony Duclair had a goal in the game four dagger against Carolina. He also has an additional two goals and six assists this postseason for 9 points in 15 games. He also missed the first 60 games with an offseason injury.

Zac Dalpe also has one goal these playoffs.
