What Team Went Too Far “All in?”

As Brian Burke famously said, “GMs often forget at the deadline that only one team gets to win the Stanley Cup.”

This deadline, more than any other I can remember, saw teams going all in. The Bruins, Rangers, Leafs, Tampa, and NJ all made some serious trades to win NOW. Only one of those teams is going to win a Cup, and a few of them will be eliminatied in the first round. So 80% will view this deadline as a failure.

The only top team in the East that didn’t go crazy was Carolina, but even they grabbed Gostisbehere…

What’s the Buzz?

So who do you think went too far?
What team hurt themselves the most down the line?
Do you want your team to go for it in a single season?
