Hockey Day Minnesota wraps up tonight in St. Paul with the Wild hosting the red hot Sabres. Buffalo comes in on a five game win streak with the last three coming on the road against Central Division teams, Dallas, St. Louis, and Winnipeg.

We know what Biffalo is capable of doing as they took down the Wild 6-5 in OT three weeks back in Buffalo. That was a tough pill for the Wild to swallow as they found themselves in a track meet with the Sabres which absolutely does not favor the Wild's game plan.

Marc-Andre Fleury made some spectacular saves in that game but allowed a softy that sent the game to OT and surrendered 6 overall on the night.

The Wild are coming off their 3-2 overtime victory over the Flyers Thursday night. That was a fight filled "old school " Hockey game reminiscent of a North Stars Flyers game from the mid 70s. There was a message sent that the Wild established their presence however the offense is still sputtering.

Ryan Hartman most likely will return to the lineup and slot in with Freddy Gaudreau and Marcus Foligno. Brandon Duhaime slides into Foligno's spot on Joel Eriksson Ek's line with Jordan Greenway.

Marc-Andre Fleury gets the Wild net again so look for him to be on top of his game and to play with a chip on his shoulder with the last Sabre game fresh on his mind.

Big day here in Minnesota with the Hockey Day Minnesota celebration in full swing at White Bear Lake and the high school hockey games on the outdoor rink. Tremendous atmosphere with the festivities surrounding the rink as we celebrate the amazing game of Hockey.

It's always Hockey Day in The State of Hockey!
