The Hawks get back to it tonight in the big D as they take on the central division leading Dallas Stars. They come in to this one dropping their last game to the Colorado Avalanche in the skills competition, but they are still playing good hockey as they are 6-2-2 in their last 10 games.

Looking at their roster, their drafting success is something I truly hope the Hawks can replicate with either this past draft class or one of the next three years drafts. When you look at their top players at the moment in Jason Robertson, Miro Heiskanen, and Jake Oettinger, they all came via the 2017 draft. With Hawks having 6 picks in the first 3 rounds for the next 3 drafts and building confidence in Kyle Davidson, you’d have to think good things are coming for the prospect pool.

Players to Watch
Jason Robertson 14 goals 15 assists 29 points
Roope Hintz 8 goals 15 assists 23 points
Joe Pavelski 9 goals 12 points 21 points

Projected Starter
Jake Oettinger 7-2-2 2.18 GAA .929 SV% 1 Shutout

If the trend continues Petr Mrazek will get the call in net and he will be hoping for not only a better performance from himself but from the defense as well. There is a good chance that we see Seth Jones back in the lineup tonight as he skated with the team in a full contact jersey. According to Coach Richardson, the decision will come down to how he feels after the morning skate, but he is very confident he will play.

With that, I just wanted to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving. I hope everyone has a safe and relaxing holiday.
