Game Notes
* Playing together on the 1st line with Alex Nylander, MacKenzie Entwistle and Brett Connolly both returned to the lineup after being on the shelf due to leg injuries.
* Nylander continues to show noticeable improvement in his backchecking and forechecking as he covers for pinching D-men, hustles for loose pucks, and tries to maximize his puck touches.
* The game got extra chippy in the final minutes with melees caused by altercations between Evan Barratt and Jack Dugan as well as between Wyatt Kalynuk and Brayden Pachal.
* As his confidence grows in the pros, Nicolas Beaudin is exhibiting more and more snarl when battling the opposition in tough areas of the ice but also getting his nose dirty after whistles.
* The IceHogs can exact revenge this evening as they clash with the Silver Knights again on home ice.
