While the task was hard in Montreal on Monday night, it certainly won't be any easier tonight in Tampa Bay for the Montreal Canadiens. Following a postseason loss, Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy owns a career record of 17-7 (2.06 GAA, .926 save percentage and 4 shutouts) including a 13-0 record dating back to the start of the 2020 Stanley Cup playoffs. In other words, for the Canadiens' fairytale run to continue, Carey Price will have to be flawless. He was impressive in the last game but he also received some help from his posts. Of course, Montreal has faced the being down 3-1 challenge back in the first round against Toronto and responded brilliantly.

Montreal would be better off avoiding the penalty box as much as possible tonight as well. Their penalty killing is performing at a record level, but Tampa has got such a potent power play that playing with fire hardly seems like a good idea. The Habs also need to wise up when it comes to post whistle shenanigans, they cannot afford to lose 2 defensemen to silly penalties at the same time as they did in Monday night's battle, especially not penalty killing ones.

John Cooper has already confirmed that Alex Killorn will not be playing tonight and that there won't be any changes to his line-up, I expect the same to be the case for the Canadiens, after all, Ducharme rarely makes changes when he's found a winning formula. As always, the game is scheduled for 20:00 and all we can now do is hope that this won't be the final game of this eventful Canadiens' season.
