Eight games on this Tuesday night but only one rematch featuring the Canucks/Jets. Flyers/Pens highlight the card tonight as both teams battle it out for the 4th playoff spot in the East Division. Only 2 points separate these two in-state rivals. For Canadian hockey viewers, Sens at Habs isn’t an easy two points anymore for any team playing Ottawa. Believe it or not, the Sens sit just six points of a playoff spot while Calgary is only two points back of Montreal. Talk about a must win for Montreal! The Habs have lost 7 of their last 8 games, while Ottawa has won three of four against Montreal this season. Montreal gets Ottawa in a nice spot resting at home while the Sens played last night against Calgary.
Scenario #1 – Teams that are playing each other in back to back games, in which the home team loses the first game, the record of the home team in the second game is 38-22! Winnipeg fits the system tonight.
Scenario #2 – Teams playing back to back road games on consecutive nights tend to go under the total in the 2nd game. So far that trend is 15-14 when teams play on the road back to back nights. Vancouver/Winnipeg fits the system tonight.
Scenario #3 - One last angle I am tracking that is slightly profitable and similar to Scenario #1, is when any team loses the first game of a back to back against the same team, regardless if it’s on the road or at home, those teams are 54-40 in that situation.

Flyers/Pens – Both teams playing solid hockey, Flyers very good road team versus the Pens a solid home team. Flyers won the first two head to head meetings, both going over the total.
Wings/Jackets – Split the first two games head to head and both went under the total. Jackets have lost 5 in a row, while the Wings are a terrible road team.
Sens/Habs – Habs rested at home while Sens played last night but have lost 5 in a row. Sens have won 4 of their last 5 and have beat Montreal 3 of 4 games this year.
Canucks/Jets – Canucks snapped their 4 game losing streak with a win over the Jets last night, while the Jets lost for the first in 5 games. Teams have split the first 4 meetings head to head this season with 3 of the 4 going under the total.
Canes/Preds – Canes off two big wins back to back against Florida on the road. Preds sitting at home rested too while Canes played last night. Preds winners of 4 of their last 5. Could be a bad spot for Carolina.
TB/Dallas – TB has won 4 in a row and just beat Dallas 5-0 in the first meeting of the season. Stars 2-8 in their last 10. TB average on the road, while Dallas has fared much better at home this season.
