I'd expect Selänne to wait until he sees what happens with Ryan & Getzlaf before he signs his usual one year deal. He has repeatedly stated he has no interest in playing for a team that's rebuilding.

Bobby Ryan is a franchise player. Why would the Ducks want to trade him. He is younger and has more upside then anyone outside of Karlson on the entire Senators team. If they trade Bobby Ryan for prospects and spare parts it would set them back 4 or 5 years.

I could see a package of Smith,Zibanejad, Wiercoch and Dacosta.

The problem with trading Getzlaf is that you then could probably kiss Corey Perry goodbye too. Unless the Ducks are going into full rebuild mode, i don't see it happening.

Getzlaf seemed disinterested whenever I watched him. Don't know why you would trade for someone like that.

Getzlaf would be great for the Leafs. 1st pick 2013 plus plus may be a good starting point. Depends on what Nash or Ryan fetch and probably a bit more then what Staal was traded for.

Well they must be... FFS Ryan rumours and now Getzlaf- may as well trade Perry as well... I do not get why they are trading or mentioned in rumors when they had a solid core to begin with...

I think the team with the best assets to get Ryan is also the team searching for a number one LW which just may end up being the trade made. And that is with the Colorado Avalanche. Ducks say they need a number 2 C to start the trade... thats where Stastny comes up.. Avs are good with Duchene and Orielly as their top 2 C, then Ducks are also wanting a top prospect, Avs have plenty of those as well.. Barrie, Elliot, Siemens, Sgarbossa, Hishon.

I think the team with the best assets to get Ryan is also the team searching for a number one LW which just may end up being the trade made. And that is with the Colorado Avalanche. Ducks say they need a number 2 C to start the trade... thats where Stastny comes up.. Avs are good with Duchene and Orielly as their top 2 C, then Ducks are also wanting a top prospect, Avs have plenty of those as well.. Barrie, Elliot, Siemens, Sgarbossa, Hishon.

That sounds about right in my mind. I wouldn't enjoy giving up Turris, but you have to give good players to receive good players. The ducks are not in a position of strength when in the ryan negotiations, he wants out and the whole league knows it.

It depends on where the Ducks feel they are. If they are dealing both Ryan and Getzlaf in separate deals (and considering they already dealt off Visnovsky) it tells me they are thinking of doing a total rehaul of their team. That plays into what the Sens can offer. Do the Ducks need a young potential 1a goalie? We have 2 potential young ones that were part of the supposed Nash deal. Do they want a A level prospect? Zibanejad was also part of that deal. Maybe add in Zach Smith and potentially another one of our forward prospects, and I'm pretty sure you just made an acceptable offer of youth for the disgruntled forward.

There is a part of me that just doesn't think Turris will be dealt from here any time soon. We've waited so long for a complimentary center to Spezza, I just can't see it happen not a year after we seemingly found him.
