Most Flyers fans I know and most season ticket holders I talk to at games know Bryz is not a pressure goalie, he isn't going to win any team a Cup. He couldn't take the pressure or media spotlight leading up to the winter classic how is he going to steal a playoff game. He could help a team win a Cup if that team had Pronger, Timonen, Grossman, Meszaros, Coburn but steal games, NO. So Tim please don't put fans who commemt on csn with other hockey fans. |

Not sure he exactly "stole" it... the boys in black and orange blocked a TON of shots. They also cleared out the goal mouth scrambles like no-one's business.
A good game by Bryz, but he's gotta be just as good going forward. |

Give credit, where credit is due. The official shots against was 31... that does not include the blocked shots. 31 is still a lot of shots. Those shots were not by talent-less rookies... Crosbly, Malkin, Neal and Staal are gifted offensively and were playing to win. After, the Flyers gave up 3,5,4,10,3 goals per game... to give up only one goal at a critical time is stealing the game. Not to mention, there were 5 penalties... The only goal was on a PK. Bryz was very strong in net, and did his job well. He shut the door on the pens.

I'm not denying he had a great game... I think I even said it.
I'm denying that he single-handedly 'stole' this game.
Without the blocks and trash clearing in front, this would've been a whole diff. game. |
