Nope. You get a 3-4 day breather tops.

Last year teams finished on the Saturday or Sunday and playoffs started Wednesday/Thursday.

Is it me or Roy has been playing better lately? He's in my pool and got more points during last month.

In order to make it to the 8th spot we will need more than a goal or two a game... Miller has been amazing, but he needs a little help to give him a small cushion!

I think someone needs a location change

It was nice to see Miller very humble and thanking his teammates in his post-game, a rarity for him but thats the way he should be acting, even if he single handedly stole the game

Totally agree. That is what drives me nuts about him. He just seems to be moving a lot slower of late too and that line has been probably the worst of the four the past few games.

Yeah it effects everyone, pommer hasnt looked great either, thats forgivable based on how well hes played all year. But Vanek needs to wake up, cause he is a non factor out there. If this is how hes gonna play out the rest of his contract i wouldn't be too sad to see him traded

I wouldn't mind if they traded Vanek in all honesty. It would obviously depend on who would be coming back but his play of late is concerning. I know everyone rags on Stafford and Roy but when Vanek plays this way he irritates me far more than the other two.

EDIT: Vanek-Roy-Pominville line combo has now surpassed Even Strength ice time than any other combination for Vanek.

vanek is already undersized, you go down low and take a beating every game and lets see if you can go all out every night

I feel like Roy has now ruined Pominville. He has't registered a point in 3 straight games I believe. Time to get Roy off of that line.

I'm not gonna sit here and let someone tell me im not a real fan, especially when they don't know a damn thing about my opinion on miller cause i never voiced it on here. Miller has been the teams back bone since the danny and chris left, i was well aware of that fact and thought it would be idiotic to trade someone with that much talent cause he had one bad season (and it wasn't even a full season) so before you come on here questioning me get your poop straight cause you dont know a damn thing about me.

As for Vanek its been more than a couple games.... every year the guy goes on a 20 game hiatus at some point in the season, and the reason it makes me so mad isn't because i don't like Vanek (Been watching the guy since he was a golden gopher and bought his jersey the second i knew he was a sabre) its because i know what he is capable of, its not a coincidence that he is our leading scorer every year, but this year he has been very average and i cant help but think what kinda numbers the guy would put up if he didnt take a quarter of the season off
