If Bob Stauffer made that comment about Hemsky getting around that much money,then I can bet $100 that Hemsky is not going any where,from all reporters,bloggers anyone from sports the only person I believe 99% is Bob Stauffer,specially about any Oilers possibly trades or anything.

This drama leading up to Hemsky getting dealt is almost as bad as the Kovalchuk saga in terms of "how bad I want this poop to just go the (frank) away".

People who love Hemsky love him a lot, and it's hard to say Hemsky is worth less than $5mil per season when Horcs is making $5.5mil. Of course, everyone realizes Horcoff is overpaid by at least $2mil, if not $3mil per season, but agents aren't going to compare Hemsky's numbers to Eberle's...they are going to use Horcoff's.

I'm not joking about the $100...

As a fan of a team that is constantly tied into the Hemsky rumors. I would be disappointed if the Penguins traded for Hemsky. I watch enough Oiler games as well to know what Hemsky can bring to a team, and what baggage he has as well. If the Penguins gave up more than Steve Mac I would shake my head. Kidding, but lets say something like Carl Sneep. A prospect, but not a Morrow, Despre, Harrington type.

It's time for Hemsky to go. Being a Hemmer fan, I never thought I would agree with this but right now Omark is essentially the same player. Does that mean Omark is in our future top 6? No, he needs to earn that right and should be given an opportunity to do so.

This will haunt us as Hemsky is way better than he has shown, but it's time to move on.

Well the most speculated teams that Hemsky will end up with is either Detroit or Nashville. As a Nashville fan, I'm ok with this. I also think it'll cost us Blum and a pick. But like you said, no way in hell will it be Blum and a 1st. But Blum is from Orange County, I hope he can contain his excitement about that cold, cold city of Edmonton.
