Hey Bill, didn't the Flyers actually win one game vs ATL last year?

Mind as well say it now to get it out of the way... Bryz should get the start tomorrow night.

Agreed. Hopefully as reported, he's been working hard over the break. I am glad he didn't pull an Ovenchicken and head to the beach even though he's struggling. I read somewhere that he stayed in the area to work out etc... but I hope that included on ice with Reese.

If the Flyers wanted a guaranteed win against the Jethrashers they should have claimed Niitty on waivers.

Who ooooowns the team.

That's a tough one.. did Niity own the Thrashers or Kari Lehtonen? Or was it the Flyers that owned Lehtonen? Either way, there is no way we should be pissing away 8 pts each year vs this club.

Hahaha.. imagine if they had claimed him... and then the Jets ended up making the playoffs and we had gotten them in the first round. We would have Bryz, Bob, Leighton and Niitty all on the roster

Knowing Lava.. he would managed to use all of them... in the same game

I think he should have spent time watching a few games... some in which he won and some in which he lost.. so that he can compare and contrast the polar opposites of his games. He wins in dominant fashion, and loses in Michel Belhumeur-fashion.

I always wondered.

Niitty just always seemed to play stellar in those games.

Good point.. I imagine he has watched. I find that even watching the game in the stands etc helps a lot. Watch another tender, and see the things that he is doing to be successful. Different persepctive.

There were vast stretches that Atl outplayed us, but Niity would save our bacon. God, I think we even were winning Shootouts against them.

He did great on CBC.. play by play etc.. was really fun.

Also, I can't tell you how many interviews miked up etc that I saw with Giroux. TSN, Sportsnet, CBC it was fantastic. Lots of love for Roo and the Flyers overall in Kanida this weekend.

I would like to see Sestito called back up for a little while. He brings just what the flyers need a big body that hits and can play. He had bostons D giving up the puck every time he was on the ice.
