I was just thinking the exact same thing, you beat me to it!

I say all the time if we had a #1C to pair with Hoffman, he could be a 40+ goal scorer and I think get Ryan back up to 30+

40+ is so hard to do in todays game. Only 3-4 players a season seem to be able to do it. I dont think Hoffman will ever be one of them regardless of his center. imo hes just not a Kane or Ovie or Tarasenko or Stamkos type player. The elite players of the game.

With his shot, I absolutely can see it and he always seems to be open like Stamkos and Ovie.

I can see it with the right C.

It would be nice to see Ottawa get s 50+ goal scorer but that wont happen. I think the only player capable if doing that consistently is Ovie.

Turris and or Hoffman have a good chance,even Ryan might hit it if he continues on from his playoff performance,The Boucher system came close last year to 30+ G. This year it should be easier on the players to play more offense .Last year was a wake up call to the team and more focus on defense after years of keystone cops defense

true that but he does have a top 5 shot in league. He scores with shots likes its no ones business. But I still don't think hes going to reach 40 goals, but still probably one of the most underrated players in the league ATM.
