I dont get the Postma vs Chiarot agruement. Who is better? That is like compairing a Hyundai pony to a Lada Niva who cares neither is long for this world neither is the long term answer. But I take Postma over Chiarot every day of the week.

I've been a big fan of Maurice but putting pavelec in the second game in a row seems to indicate that he believes that Pav is our number one goalie. I'm sick and tired of pavelec the clown. he's not a good goaltender...... why why why is he starting again. put helly in so we have a chance to have less than 3 or 4 goals scored on us in one game.

For the most part I agree with you. I would rather see Helly getting the start. This is just me speculating but maybe Maurice is trying to light a fire under Helly's and get him more dialed in.
I don't know how hard Helly works in pratice. I dont know if Helly puts in the extra time needed to work out of a funk. From playing the game myself nothing pissed me off more when an individual was struggling with there game and instead of working harder they would mail in their effort and keep feeling sorry for themselves.

So who knows what is really happening?

It was a no brainer that Barb was going to get snapped up fast by some other team with first rights before the Jets would have a chance at him.

Too bad. He would have been a definite improvement to the buleline.

The Myers injury has been quite secretive. Everything form a high ankle sprain to a fractured fibula and many other plausible possibilities in-between. He has broken his leg when in Buffalo as well. I suspect its a small fracture of the fibula that just wont seem to heal right. Seems really tall players are quite susceptible to injuries to the legs. Then there is the whole family matter thing.

I think everyone hates this new policy of not disclosing exact injuries. I would expect that players are professional enough not to go and target an exact area of a players body the minute they come back. With the Jets its either LBI or UBI.

If its hip and its down to bone on bone or close to it then I guess we now know who the Jets will expose. No way Vegas would take a chance on him with that contract. The good news is Jets can now go 7F-3D which helps protect Lowry and Armia. Like it !

I suppose it could be maurice trying to light a fire. Helly either plays great or has a poor performance. there doesn't seem to be an in between.

I'm not looking to strike a serious debate but Pavelec is not a #1 and he hasn't ever had the numbers to back up a #1 unless you consider 2015 where he pulled his stats up in the last 20 games of the year. Honestly I believe thats the only 20 games (maybe it was 15 I'm just throwing numbers out there) where he's proved he belongs as a #1. The team has been forced to score goals to win games and thats not a long term solution! Hutch can't be traded or demoted without being picked up (or its possible he may pass I'm not sure) but the expansion draft really screws that up for the jets.

If the jets even think for a second about re-signing pavelec I'm going to loose it! the team needs to move on from the Atlanta days and if I'm right the only player that exists from those days now is Buff.

Regardless, I'm hoping for a big win but I fully expect Pavelec to let 3-5 goals in tonight.
