I was worried about Leddy at first thinking he can't be much better than Hickey, but Leddy has impressed me. The kid has all the tools to be a top pairing defender. He was much better defensively than I thought and how BHawk fans perceived him to be.

Isles took advantage of the Cap for both teams, I don't think any deal will come as cheaply as those.

I was hoping to pluck him from the hawks too, apparently Avs were calling but obviously the price was a lot steeper to move him within the division.

Pokka could be a good dman, but probably the same ceiling as leddy. You guys get your dman now and Hawks have his replacement in a season or 2

He's made a couple odd passes but that happens to everyone, being paired with Boychuk doesn't hurt either. I hope he can keep it up.

I was really high on pokka, but with so many defensemen in our system it was expected we'd have to move at least one. I think he could turn into a top four guy.

necessary evil to get move him now, holding onto him wasnt going to increase your chanes of making the playoffs his season.
