It's a crazy world we live in...it's tough to understand these things and when it happens in the city you live in it just, for lack of a better phrase, hits home.

I still remember Boston after that whole poop show and it really puts things into perspective.

Generally things get a little escalated when that happens with an active shooter at or in a important governmental landmark building. That tends to change things.

If I hop your fence and run around your yard maybe I'll get a ticket for trespassing. If I do it at the White House...well...not so much. It's relative.

he was a full-time reservist..........just as much of a soldier as any reg-force mbr. it was his units turn to guard the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and he did it proudly.
