Seems like Stalock is just about ready to take the reigns. If they are going to put themselves through some sort of rebuild they could get really good value for Niemi. Reimer would be a good 1B option to back-up/share time with Stalock.

But it was Ek's rumor so moot point.

Dear Tim Murray,

Please do not make a trade for Evander Kane. We don't need a big mouth in our locker room. No guy who wants all of the spotlight should be here. Buffalo is a small market just like Winnipeg so he'll end up complaining like he did in Winnipeg within a year or two. I hate his cocky personality, he acts like he's a top 5 player in the league. Honestly, he wouldn't even be in my top 50. I'm not ignoring his stats at all but it is true. I don't want to give Winnipeg a big portion of our prospect pool with promising players already for a guy who trash talks his team at 22 years old. He isn't a veteran. It's barely acceptable for a veteran to trash talk but a kid?!? His stats don't lie, he's a big player who can score but for the price and for his demeanor I don't ever want to see him in Blue and Gold unless he fixes that attitude and is going here for fair return.

That's too much, no way St. Louis wouldve given him 5. KHL players get their money tax-free, so you have to consider that.
