Isn't Peca working more towards being a front office guy? I thought he was GM for the junior Sabres.

I heard an interview with Peca where Peters asked him flat out if he wanted to be an NHL coach. He said no, and that he was happy working with the youngsters.

Glad to see the Sabres have taken out some of the trash.

Randy Cunneyworth is a good coach, especially in terms of player development. An area where the Sabres are clearly lacking. Hopefully Randy moves up to the NHL so he can help bring up some of the youngsters, and right the play of some slumping, struggling veterans who need to find their game again.

Yes. You're so correct. Randy certainly got the raw deal in Montreal and hopefully an opportunity presents itself, either in Buffalo, or someplace else. He is a quality hockey guy and definitely deserves another kick at the can. I think he can certainly help the Sabres out in regards to player development if that, in fact, transpires. I'm liking what I'm seeing with the Sabres...with what GMTM is saying, hopefully it won't be too long before you guys are competitive again. Should be entertaining to watch!!!

I want to know when the shoe is going to drop on the conditioning staff. Nolan has been very vocal about how he feels our guys aren't conditioned well. You have to figure they're on their way out too.

Peca isn't ready, nor is he qualified at this point.

I'm sure we'd all love the "thought" of a Michael Peca as a coach here, but no way is he ready for the pace of the NHL.

Yea its not like hes ever been involved in the NHL before. Rather he wants it or not might be the only question.
