Ilya will rebound and make teams regret not picking him up. Philadelphia is the worst team in the nhl for handling its goaltenders.

"Teams still interested in Miller include Philly, Nashville, Washington and Colorado. "

Maybe, doubtful, doubtful, very unlikely.

Holtby is playing really well (.925SV%) so they are out. The Varly/Giguere tandem has Colorado at the top of the league so they are out as well. Philly Maybe, but Mason has played well and they are still terrible...they aren't gonna be moving their first which could be a lottery pick.

The market is pretty thin for goalies, gonna take a big injury to a contender for it to open up

Not sure why Flyers would have interest. Flyers can't score goals...don't have problems with their goalies. Can Miller play wing or take over the 1C spot?

Bryz for no assets at backup money is a good move. Goalies go to Philly to die or get paid for 14 years to leave. Oilers pick first so often they think it's their destiny. They just need to get in the lottery. Not likely they trade that pick anywhere.

Gregerinko scores!
If he keeps this up Gretzky's 92 in a season record could be his.

I know Philly hasn't been really worth paying much attention to, but have you seen how well Steve Mason is doing this year? He's done his part. It's the offense that has been ECHL level material.

I haven't watched the Flyers much this year but I just assumed the talent they had would allow them to challenge for a playoff spot. It just seems they have some solid talent so it is perplexing that they are challenging the Sabres for worst team in the league.

It's consistently part of my everyday conversation. "Well, at least we're not the Flyers. We're actually supposed to be bad this year."

Each night before my head hits the pillow... I say a little prayer for a Miller to the Isles for Ryan Strome deal.

Ed just doesn't get it. He tries to get to know and understand today's 20 year olds. It just doesn't compute. The world has changed. The game has changed. The league management philosophy has changed. He knows that league part and hates it. He can't believe that these players can leave the rink and forget about hockey. Most of them would be texting or be on twitter from the bench if it was allowed. He is not alone. Berube, Tortorella, Laviolette and just about anybody over 50 doesn't get it. The players know who is signing their check and most respect that, but they can't comprehend what all the fuss is about. They expect to win but if they don't and still maintain their outside life style, oh well, that's not so bad. They don't like the turmoil of being traded so the union sees to it that they get the same no movement clauses that only the older guys with families used to earn. Ed and the boys are their own worst enemy. They make 20 year olds the Captain, in the hope that they will be responsible and mature. It goes on and on. Every year some team wins. Some teams manage to win more than they lose for long periods but the rules are set up to make that hard. Oh and the fans pay and pay more than ever before and they don't "get it" either!

We're gonna be drafting his brother, so why not trade for him? Hahaha

eberle would be nice but giving up simmonds and schenn for him or yakapov would not be wise. have to be more to it. flyers would continue getting softer with either of those deals
