No surprise about biron. His career should've ended two years ago. He is not a reliable guy to have as a backup. Loses more than he wins.

Biron was very solid in his first 2 yrs as Hank's backup. The shortened season last yr he played I think 5 games & this yr in camp had a personnal matter that kept him out of camp for a few days. Something's up w him, yes he's old but he almost looked uninterested in St Louis the other night.

Rangers have big big problems. This 9 game road trip to start the season hasn't helped either.

if Saturday night was any indication of what's happened to Biron's game, this move was not a surprise to anyone.

He was awful.

He surrendered two goals in the second period (his last) which were a good 15-20 feet out and with no traffic in front of him. A cardboard cutout would stop 75% of those.......

Send down Dominic Moore and Pyatt. Bring up JT Miller, Kristo and Kreider and leave those guys in the lineup.

Agree. Pyatt, Boyle, Dorsett, Dom Moore, all garbage right now. They need a jolt of life & the kids like JT Miller & Kreider playing well in Hartford could do that.

Moore has been one of the Rangers better forwards. Pyatt, I agree. The biggest issue right now is the defense. That was suppose to be the strength. The offense can't get going if the Dmen are all messed up and can't make a clean breakout pass. When the game is played 90% from the Red line to your own goalie, your defensive game is what needs to be fixed. When they can successfully control their own zone, thats when the offense can confidently break out and apply pressure.

I expected the Rangers to be real good this year. Just for the mere fact that they have a ton of pending free agents who I figured would be playing hard to earn their next contract.

Well what could be changed for defense? skjei? mcllrath? Could give those guys a chance to see how they play over guys like falk, stralman and moore. I dont think you can bench giradi, del zotto, mcdonagh and staal The rangers need a major shakeup right now, like they are getting man handled

Honestly just send some of those guys down and bring some youth in the line up. It cant get any worse, might as well try something new for the time being. Even on defense when you guys have skjei who is a young talent and mcllrath

Should the Oilers take Biron off of waivers?? With the goaltending being horrendous, (25 goals in 5 games) we need to do something in net cause what we have isn't working and it is costing us games.
