First win tonight, LET'S GO DEVILS!!

I don't like that Henrique is on the wing at all. Is Loktionov really better at face offs then Henrique or is more to do witht he fact that he refuses to play wing? We seem to always have trouble clearing the front of the net since the Stevens and Danyeko's retired so it worries me playing the Jets will lots of guys with big time shots. Cory might need to steal this one for us! Let's go boys !

Our top line has been playing great the last few games, some good chemistry developing. I'd like to see more out of the other lines though. Haven't seen much chemistry there. And wow that Jets D looks good.

Is he actually injured ? Tedenby that is. It kind of sucks that the line with all wingers on it is doing so well because it's hurting our face offs as well.

I agree but like I said scoring goals isn't good untill you're at least 26 and if your a defense man over 35 turn overs are like hat tricks to Pete Deboer.

Its like PDB is stuck in "Groundhog Day" with this defense. Every morning he wakes up and says to himself "This is gonna be a fabulous day. Our defense is gonna play solid, mistake free defense. They're gonna be quick to the puck, transition, and get some quality scoring chances". Then they poo all over the ice...............PDB wakes up and says to himself " This is gonna be a fabulous day............."

As much as the Devils have struggled to this point, they're one point out of a playoff spot and still sit ahead of divisional teams like the New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers and Washington Capitals. Hard to believe, isn't it?

Mind blowing. Need a strong game from Zajac he has to step it up. Really hope Josefson is not scratched. Gionta needs to sit he has done nothing to deserve these games.

Only way we win is if he shuts them out.

The loss of parise on the wing for zajac was huge. His offense was brutal last year and doesn't look great so far. Add in a sub par faceoff %.....not making his paycheck....

I agree the constant change and back to back season ending injuries to Parise and Zajac kind of stunned his development. Parise also just left so Lou panicked and got him locked up before he could bolt. Can you imagine the amount of things that wouldn't have happened if the team could of been sold a year or two sooner. WE might still have both Parise and Kovalchuk. The past is the past and what's done is done but I am not a Zajac fan with the contract he has and how can you be when you know the money he is making. It's Henriques year to step up now that he got paid and I think he can if he is used right and plays center.

Top 3 lines are close in ice time to each other so it doesn't really matter what line he is on. That 3rd line has Loktionov and Ryder too who are good offensive players.

Zajac needs to have a big game in his home town tonight we could use a multi point night from him and a few others.

The Devils biggest problem is their speed or lack of. Clowe will be the biggest bust ever for the Devils. He can't be anywhere near the top-2 lines. As for their defense, well most on this site know what are problems are and they can be fixed if Lou would send down/waive Salvador and Volchenkov and bring up Merrill and Gelinas.

I would certainly give those a try. not sure how the handedness of the defensive pairings works out but if its good then it looks like it would be worth a try.
