Probably two who have 2-way contacts...Urbom and Gionta....Teds and Harrold have 1-way deals and Lou already said he doesn't want to pay NHL salary in the minors.

Actually I was just thinking if Lou was going to send down Gio and Urbom (since they have 2-way deals) he probably would of done it already. By him waiting looks to me as if he wants to make a trade since he's already said he doesn't want to send down a player who is on a 1-way contract. Also Urbom just changed his number from 33 to 22. That doesn't seem like a guy who is about to be demoted or traded.

By him waiting looks to me as if he wants to make a trade since he's already said he doesn't want to send down a player who is on a 1-way contract. Also Urbom just changed his number from 33 to 22. That doesn't seem like a guy who is about to be demoted or traded.

Yup Some D man has to be on the move. I thought Harold was on a two way so i said he would be waived but I see now he's on a one way and that wont happen.

Having 2 way deals doesnt mean they can be sent down and up without problems. Everyone on the team (except Larsson,) would need to clear waivers in order to be sent down. Gio has defintly earned his spot. He is the best player on that 4th line.

Actually, Gio and Urbom would both have to clear waivers to get down, money aside. The reason they haven't tested that was that DeBoer likes Gio and doesn't want to take the chance to lose him for nothing and Urbom is too valuable. For the most part, I agree with the rest. I don't see Urbom being traded. Gio might be.

Whoa there, sonny jim. I think Bernier is better, personally. It's all objective. Furthermore, he has earned a spot much less than Olesz and Ted.

That is sweet ! The thing I like about it is he isnt some crazy guy who never loses a fight. He is just a really savvy guy. The whole show is a pretty awesome theme and time and the fact that its not totally made up.
