A lot of people hate it. I could care less about it either way. I don't hate it and I don't love it. The way I look at it, is it wouldn't be getting as much hate as it is if the team was better. No matter what, people are going to nitpick and find stuff to complain about. It's worse when the team is in turmoil though.

Darcy has no say in jersey design. The Sabres could have a legendary manger like Lou Lamoriello or Sir Alex Ferguson and this still would have been our third jersey.

I wish Regier was in charge of jerseys. I'd be willing to sport an awful jersey if it means having a great team (kinda like 07).

I always buy a new Sabres jersey when they come out with a new one. I'm loyal like that. But I gotta say, not this time. This jersey is a GIGANTIC FAIL!!!!!!!
Putting BUFFALO across the front was redundant.

My guess would be that he had no say, but in this organization I wouldn't be surprised if he had at least a bit to do with it. That being said, you're probably right.

It's a shame really, I kinda like the back of it. If they had kept it all one colour (or not a yellow front) it could have been a really nice alternate.

I guess these third jerseys are his latest well

They made a very bold move to go to the red and black color scheme and the goat head. Everyone hated it. Then they started to win. And the jerseys were not that bad anymore.

The new jerseys are meant to try to attract new fans. Not the ones that are already a fan.

It's a shame really, I kinda like the back of it. If they had kept it all one colour (or not a yellow front) it could have been a really nice alternate.

I don't get why they keep using gray on them. Why is the bottom of the sleeves gray? Why not just make the numbers white? I just don't get it.

If this team had made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs, people wouldn't be hating on this jersey half as much as they are. Everyone is just looking for reasons to complain.

a better product on the ice is the best way to attract new fans IMO

Yea I'm really not understanding that either. I'm okay with the lettering though I too would prefer white.

I like the style of the lettering, and I like the Yellow for the name. I'm just confused as to why they used gray for the numbering.

But really, Darcy more than likely had nothing to do with this. It's not like he was too busy doing this to do his actual job.

If Darcy had anything to do with those things, id jump to the firing side in a millisecond.

As much positive as he and the team should get for the draft, the group who designed those things deserve just as much hate

if they cut the yellow in half on the jersey, went with a more traditional blue and used white for the numbers, they would be ok

Can't drill more wells when you keep falling deeper in the one you have.
