I believe the Hawks entrance song this year was Marilyn Manson, Beautiful people.

I will cast my vote for that

Back in the late 80's early 90's Vukota & Baumgartner would lead the Isles onto the ice with Live Wire by Motley Crew blasting. The good old days

1. Let The Bodies Hit The Floor - Drowning Pool (Creepy, but good)
2. Stranglehold - Ted Nugent (Awesome before playoff games)
3. Detroit Rock City - Kiss (Not a Wings fan, but appropriate)
4. Beautiful People - Marilyn Manson (Love the start of this song)
5. I'm Shipping Up To Boston - Dropkick Murphys (Same as #3, but for Bruins)

Metallica- Fuel or Sandman, Master of Puppets and so on...they all sound pretty good over the loud speakers at the UC.

That's the only one (other than Chelsea Dagger) that I could actually recognize of all of the songs mentioned by JJ or anyone else.

I'm too plucking old for this.

Where the Streets Have No Name by U2 found it's way into third period critical faceoffs at the UC this year. Really like the buildup the intro offers to the mood of the moment.

Also like the Go Leafs Go song, if for no other reason than how it must tick off the other Canadian teams. Those who have heard it know what I mean.

Probably not into much of the music that will be mentioned here, although Layla by Derek & the Dominos is one of the great rock and roll songs of all time, and seems to be a staple in third periods at the UC. Desire by U2 also fits the bill.

Let's drop Let the Bodies Hit the Floor, as well as any other Disturbed-esque bands from the 90s-present (this include you, Linkin Park). Also, per the original post, Limp Bizkit should never be played, in any capacity, at any place, not even for humor.

If we're gonna go with a Dropkick Murphys song, let's make it Do or Die or Fightstarter Karaoke, or one of the other songs off the first album before they began turning into a radio hit machine.

Slayer - Raining Blood (Pittsburgh currently plays it...for a finesse-oriented team???)
Iron Maiden - Aces High
Motorhead - Ace of Spades
Hatebreed - Prepare For War
Madball - Set it Off

Detroit one year also would play "Even The Losers" by Tom Petty when the opponent would score against them. I thought that was a good touch.

I Love LA is a great song. Chelsea Dagger, on the other hand, is universally hated by everyone but Blackhawk fans.

Some arena (Minnesota, maybe?) plays "Get Over it" by the Eagles whenever the other team scores. Thought that was pretty good.
