Here's a blog topic not often—if ever—tackled. And a use of social media to spread the idea. What are your favorite NHL Arena rock songs—past and present—when your team comes out on the ice, between the whistles, goal songs, etc?

Not your favorite songs in a broader sense, but actual NHL arena music.

I'll compile the list from here, then make the playlist on my Spotify account. You can friend me on Facebook (yes, even you, shiddy) and then follow me on Spotify to get the playlist. A great way to get through the non-hockey dog days and get psyched up as the season approaches.

So . . .

I'm gonna get it started. And I will pre-emptively add that, yes, Chelsea Dagger is going on this. Sorry, if you're an NHL fan, this song has been an important part of the NHL Arena music experience, like it or not.

Besides, I don't expect Roberto Luongo to participate anyway!

One caveat: NO FRICKIN' NICKELBACK!!

Here goes:

1) Wildflower, the Cult
2) Break Stuff, Limp Bizkit
3) Bulls on Parade, Rage Against the Machine
4) Chelsea Dagger, the Fratellis
5) Mother, Danzig
6) Machinehead, Bush

Your turn.
