Nice wrote up, would love then to continue to be successful! That said do you not think some of those totals are from playing in a soft NW div? Hope they can find some success next year!

Potentially. Even so, most of those stats are still pretty impressive.

Quick question for Flames fans:

Would Calgary have any interest in acquiring Andrej Mezaros from Philly? The talk in Philly is that he can be had for no more than a 3rd round pick. I'm not real familiar with the Flames roster as it currently stands, but it seems they could use another decent defenseman, especially one with only one more year on his contract.

with phi wanting picks back because they have to hit cap, i'd say probably not. He's not worth losing a pick on.

I'd prefer him over butler.

If phi could somehow take cammy though (cap issues of course).

cammy/byron/CGY eats 2mil for mezaros/read (or maybe laughton)

But interesting

Last few seasons were long already.

It will be interesting to see if Hudler pushes for a top line spot.

Baertschi- Backlund- Hudler sounds like a pretty respectable 2nd line as well.

Read would be the best part of that trade.

I think glenx/cammy/hudler can be the first line.

I'd rather see what baert/backland/jones can do. Have a big player alongside baert.

Yes this.
The BBJ line is what I'm hoping for.
