Maybe there is some truth to the speculation that Ehrhoff wants out. The Sabres might want to move quickly on this one.

Regier is really in a bind right now. Roster players don't want to stay, free agents don't want to come, and the other GMs are like vultures circling roadkill. Hate to say it but this is the by-product of not making a GM change after the season.

Ehrhoff cashed a huge check. It wouldn't make any fiscal sense to trade him at this time considering how much they have already paid him and his relatively cheap cap hit.

Regier is really in a bind right now. Roster players don't want to stay, free agents don't want to come, and the other GMs are like vultures circling roadkill. Hate to say it but this is the by-product of not making a GM change after the season.

For now i feel that Sulzer could be a top 4 D man but not a top 3 D man.

In 2011-12 Sulzer put up the following numbers in just 15 game with the sabres after the trade deadline.

G 3 In an 82 game season thats 16.4 goals
A 5 In an 82 game season thats 27.33 Assist
P 8 In an 82 game season thats 43.73 Points

Will Sulzer avarege 16.4 goal mosl likely no he will avarege around 8.2 but maybe his assist will avarege 35.53.

Remember, when he signed here the Sabres were talking about competing for a Cup every season and spending oodles of money to make that happen.

Now the narrative has changed. The team is bottoming out and undertaking a prolonged rebuild.

Long Story Short: Sulzer and Ehrhoff are the Sabres #1 Pair. After that you have Weber and a bag of unknowns and trash

I dont get why people think there is a trade for the D-Corps.

I just feel like the relationship between Darcy and Terry is similar, in that even though Wormtongue gave the king terrible advice he was still able to stick around, sucking the life from him.
