Cloutier? No Coburn today?

Smid and Schutlz can go when klefbom and nurse are ready, they aren't right now. The only way I would get rid of both is if I can get a d man in return who can play top four minutes (preferably top 3) and we can sign another solid vet d man like Andrew ferrence.

Smid can stay if it's up to me, but if I can make an upgrade involving smid and one of our abundant d prospects it would be alright to let him go as well.

Nurse wasn't my first pick, but damn he is going to be a great player and I think that he will be our leader on the blue line for years to come

Grabo might do well with the ISLE. Don't look for him to play with JT though, Grabo is a lone wolf... Not much of a playmaker.

Don't know why you complain about MacT, just as you complained about Tamb. They, and you, are all drinking the same Koolaid.

Until you, and MacT, get off the notion that the Oilers have 47 "untouchable" players on their roster, you will not see any change. There needs to be some balance. If a player like Seguin can get traded today, so can a player like Eberle etc. You have to make your best deal when something presents itself.

In retail, you can never fall in love with your product. Same applies here. All you want to do is trade rowboats for battleships - oh, and don't forget Horcoff and Hemsky. They remind me of the great Ryder, Halak and a 2nd for just about anybody every rumored deal that every Hab fan used to sing about Those two are just about untradeable. Buy them out if you can't get anything for them. These buyouts only last this season and next, so you better use them up!

Cloutier get's a lot of flack, (justifiably for the most part) but I for one appreciate the fact he blogs regularly and provides the forum to talk. Now... That being said, your blogs would be much more palatable and\or tolerable if you choose a side of the fence.
