Perfectly summed up! Not to mention the Flames are super weak on the right wing and are super soft up front. I like the deal!

Feaster has alot of work to do in the offseason to ice a capable team....
regardless it should be more exciting hockey to watch (i'm a local to calgary as well)... the last few games of the season were pretty good

No it isn't. David Jones is paid $4 million and is coming off a brutal season. Tanguay is still a solid player. O'Brien>Sarich, but still a bad deal for Calgary.

Ya exactly...it's not a lopsided trade either way, but it's a good direction for the Flames and they addressed some needs.

Also when it comes down to it I think O'Brien > Sarich these days.
