Ya... That is not happening. I doubt Van would even do the 1st + Tanev nevermind an additional prospect.

Tanev for Paarjavi alone would be pretty fair.

I'd have to think about the first one for a bit but no to the second one.

Think these through at least. There is no way they take Hemsky without giving money back (unless Luongo is dealt with little salary coming back). Canucks have 0 cap space as of now.

The Canucks should select the top rated WHL player available at the time of their pick. Doesn't matter who else is still available, take a (frank)ing WHL player.

There is no way in hell Ristolainen, Zadorov, or Gauthier fall to #24. If I'm Van I'd take Mantha with that pick. Big, pure sniper. Or if you guys end up trading Schneider cause he has more trade value than Loungo, consider taking Fucale. He's projecting to go around that time in the draft as well.

Another best play available situation. Who knows, maybe we get a high ranking player dropping like Fowler did.

As for the prospects we could flip it for, Kreider would be great, but there is no way NYR is trading him.

So, now that we know where The Vancouver Canucks will be selecting in a month, I thought is it would be fun to look at the value of that pick.

Won't they also have a high first rounder from the Luongo deal?

Good morning, my west coast friends.

Canucks have Lack and Cannata in the system. I wouldn't waste that pick on a goalie—maybe in the 3rd round or later they take a flyer on the best goalie available.

They need forward prospects more than anything.

Leblanc for 24th overall would be a fair deal.
