Whats up Hawk Nation ?
Missed the game threads brcause of work the last 2.
Hoping and praying for Hawk health before the greatest tournament in the World begins.
I wouldnt mind seeing 19,88,2,7, 81 take a couple of games off before the playoffs. |

Not sure I like the idea of their better players being healthy scratches this late in the season, I think it's better to maintain the intensity and momentum than have them sit to avoid an injury or to rest them. It's harder to dial back up the intensity once it's been turned off. Health is the key but there is no way to control that unfortunately. I'd like to see them start to ramp up their game a notch, work on their powerplay and get ready to hit the playoffs running. |

Did ayone see the hit on ovechkin last night as he went into the create to try and score?
That is how players that respect each other deliver hits legally in my humble opinion |

I see what you ae saying but with other contender having injuries it would be such a buzz kill if 19,81,88 went down in a meaningless regular season game. I understand your argument as well, Im just nervous about potental injuries this late in the regular season. |

Any player can suffer any injury at any time.
I get the point of resting them, I'm just not sure it that idea is totally necessary.

Good morning Eli, everyone
I would say it's better to play everyone regularly to keep them all on top of their game. Q just needs to make sure he rolls all 4 lines and all 3 D pairs, no need to ride Keith, or anyone else, 30 minutes a night at this point. |

JJ, I got really excited when it looked like Detroit was just sending Jimmy Howard out there as the only one in the starting lineup. However, I read the rest of your blog and saw you had the complete Detroit lineup. |

Play 'em but get some higher TOI for the lower line players and/or kids. This way they keep sharp but not worn down. |

Too many drumsticks in the head for this clown - philco28
He's just pissed he had to move to Toronto to get a job. Cuz his hometown is ON FIRE...literally and figuratively. |

Hope the rotation of the bottom pair has kept Roszival fresh for the plaoffs. He is by far the best 6th dman on the team. Brookbank has been adequate filling in but everything seems more stable when Roszival is playing (and getting nearly 20 mpg).
